9/26/11 Momentum
It's been a pretty busy last few weeks for us. We competed in a battle of the bands for a chance to open for Fuel again. We passed the first round but got stopped in the finals. Still had a great time and played for a great crowd and against some great bands. We continued our 3 part album release party at Coasters last weekend and the show went great. Thanks to For Shame and Sonic Cell for putting on great performances. The 3rd and final CD Release party will be held at the LA Lounge in Destin on Oct 15th and will feature 5 bands. Line up will be released soon. Album sales are going great. If you haven't gotten one yet we have them for sale at every show. They can be picked up locally in Valparaiso at Hair Magic or in Niceville at Music Mart for $5. For you out-of-staters try our online store or Itunes or Amazon.com. We had a great radio promo with Joshua David of 106.3 the Buzz in Witchita Falls TX. Hear it here. He's definatly a cool ass guy. Huge thanks to him. Also check us out on the charts at ReverbNation. Next show: Sept30 at the Tank in Valparaiso. Come on out and hear our newest original song: Flat Broke.

This will be the album cover that will be gracing the packaging. The album is entitled "Our Own Infinity" and the artwork is an interpretation of mans desire to understand the infinity of the universe under the supervision of a higher power. The album will have 11 original tracks. Ballads, rock anthems, pop, alternative, you name it. Our producer Bryan Kelly just finished his album and it is available for download at For Shame Music. 7/25/11 Album, Bday weekend, KC's Show
So we played this past Saturday at KC's with Paloma, For Shame, and Sonic Cell. Great turnout and some of the best performances i've ever seet a local show. For Shame helped the show greatly with there radio spot on 99rock promoting the show. There radio performance can be heard here. Our album should be done in the next week or so and then will go out for printing. Several cd release shows will be booked shortly after. The album design has been completed pending artists approval for our cover image. In the meantime check out some music by Endustrie, an industrial rock group composed of members from several bands including Dismystic, For Shame, and The Helvetica Effect. Also it was Chibs' bday this weekend. Check out this footage captured by Florida Locals at the Sonic Cell and Helvetica Effect Show. Next show up for us will be Crab Island this Sunday July 31st with the band Vantage Point.
7/11/11 Hidden Treasure
The album is finally done performance wise and is now in its final mixdown stages. It took a little longer then expected but we didn't miss our target by much. It definately paid off not to rush things. I added a merch page to the site and even added a little treat for the ladies. More shows have been added as well. As some of you may or may not know there are some hidden easter eggs hidden throughout the webpage......good luck finding them all.
6/27/11 Opening the lines of communication
Guestbook added. Stop in and express your feelings, desires, needs, and frustrations. Added individual band member bios on the about page. Also we will have Paloma joining us at KC's on July 23rd.
6/22/11 Gettin' it done
In the last month or so we've been rather busy. All the vocals for the album have been finished. All that's left is mixdown and a few little finishing touches. We started work on a few new originals. One is called "Sayonara" and the other is called "Modern Hero". I've posted audio to the website of an older version of Sayonara and Fallen. I also posted the song "Forever" which I wrote with the band Endustrie that Dismystic may start playing there own version of. I ordered pics and stickers with the new logo and web address on them which we will be giving out at shows. We had a blast playing Crab Island with Sonic Cell. We will be back out there July 31st. In other news we are now sharing our practice studio with For Shame. We will be performing with Sonic Cell, For Shame and tba at KC's on July 23rd. Next show up for us will be tomorrow(06/23/11) at Live Niteclub in Pensacola and Friday at the Tank in Valp.
5/15/11 Recording & Such
Virgil began recording lead tracks on the album. He's about halfway done and it's sounding great. We also did some filming with Heather on the new "Bent" program. We are still writing songs and booking shows. We have a new original called "The Crash". New dates have been added for kc's, The Break, and The Tank.
5/11/11 Website Launch
Today our site went live. Very special thanks to an anonymous fan who made a very generous donation to get this site up and running. Keep visiting here for updates. Music, videos, merch, and more coming soon. Be sure to spread the word to your friends of our new web prescence.
5/5/11 Cinco De Mayo
We are getting closer to finishing our album. Just a few more guitar tracks to tidy up and then vocal recording can begin. The album will be entitled "Our Own Infinity" and will have somewhere in the ballpark of 10-12 tracks. It is being produced by Bryan Kelly of For Shame. He's doing an excellent job and even helping us grow the songs musically. His band is recording along side us and there is a write up of the progress on they're website. Both bands albums should be out sometime in July. We are continuing to write new original music, learn new covers, and tigthen up the songs we already have. We have also begun working with Heather Garcia on a web program following the band entitiled "Bent". It is in the beginning stages still but should yield some pretty interesting footage. We are also discussing filming our first music video for a song off the album. We are continuing to play shows but currently at a slower rate while we prepare for the album release show dates in late summer. Thanks to everyone who supports what we do and thanks for visiting our new website. We'll do our best to keep it updated.
